Glennville

Alice Lynn (Kichline) Bianco, 78, of Glennville, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Hospice Savannah surrounded by her family.

Born February 24, 1948, in Phillipsburg, NJ, Alice was the daughter of the late Lydia and Ruben ''Tucker'' Kichline. She grew up in Stewartsville, NJ, and graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1966. After graduation, she attended Dover Business School. Throughout her life, she worked as a court stenographer, a cashier, and a medical transcriptionist. but her more important job centered around her family. She was the planner who arranged family vacations and get togethers, and she made sure that all family was included and visited.

Alice met the love her life in Stewartsville, NJ, when Philip Neil Bianco visited friends across the street from her home. They were married on October 10, 1970, and lived in Easton, PA In May 1974., they welcomed their first child, Alyssa Irene, and, shortly after, moved to Bloomsbury, NJ. In July 1978, they welcomed their second child, Christopher Neil. Alice and Phil lived together in Bloomsbury, NJ, until his death in 2015. In early 2019, Alice moved to Glennville, GA, where she lived until her death.

Alice's life centered around her faith and the church. She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church in Stewartsville, NJ. She was the church secretary, a Sunday School teacher, and a Vacation Bible School teacher. She also volunteered for many church events throughout the years. After her move to Georgia, she became an active member of the Glennville Methodist Church. She participated in Backpack Buddies, Seniors for the King, Caswell Kids, Wednesday night suppers, and the Glennville Thrift Store. She also delivered flowers weekly to church members. Finally, she led the Evangelism Committee for Glennville Methodist Church. She left nothing unattended, and she didn't seek recognition for any of it. She did it for the glory of God and the church, as well as the joy it brought her.

In her leisure time, Alice enjoyed antiquing, crocheting, sewing counted cross-stitch, gardening, and baking. She truly enjoyed cooking and baking for others. Alice also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Kayleen, shopping and going to the beach. She viewed every child she met as one of her grandchildren, and she always had treats for them in her purse. Everyone Alice met became family, and she was concerned about their well-being and providing support when needed. She was never happier than when she was helping others, and she truly embodied Jesus' teaching to "love thy neighbor as yourself'. Alice loved animals as well, having had many cats and dogs throughout her life. Many people saw her driving around Glennville with George and Sassy in the car with her.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia and Ruben ''Tucker" Kichline, her brother Thomas Kichline, and her beloved husband, Philip Neil Bianco.

She is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Drappeaux (Ron) of Ludowici, GA, her son Christopher Bianco (Sarah), of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and her granddaughter Kayleen Grooms, of Leesburg, FL. She is also survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Glennville Methodist Church, First Lutheran Church in Stewartsville, NJ, and FCA missionary Sasha Quarles.
