Allen Dale DeLoach, 68, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and under the compassionate care of Affinis Hospice. His departure marks the loss of a truly humble and generous soul who deeply touched the lives of those around him.
He was born on August 28, 1957, in Dover, Ohio to Marcus and Lucy Walker DeLoach and lived in this area all of his life.
Allen devoted much of his life to civil service at Ft. Stewart. Beyond his professional contributions, he was a skilled craftsman in the field of paint and body automobile work. His dedication to his work reflected a meticulous nature and a desire for excellence that he carried into every aspect of his life.
Known for his quiet humility and a heart that always leaned toward helping others, Allen was a beacon of kindness and support. His genuine care for people was evident in every interaction, making him a cherished friend and family member.
Outside of his work, Allen found joy and fulfillment in a variety of pursuits. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, activities through which he connected with the natural world and found peace and recreation. Cooking was another passion, as was spending time in his shop—spaces where his hands and mind could create and restore. Most importantly, Allen treasured visits and moments shared with his family and friends, valuing the bonds of love and friendship that enriched his life.
The impact of his character and the warmth of his spirit will continue to be remembered and celebrated by all fortunate enough to have known him.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by: Children, Angela Creech and Shane Waters; siblings, Marcus "Red" DeLoach (Tammy), Kenny DeLoach, Debbie Kicklighter (Ricky), Darlene Anderson (Chris); grandchildren, Damian Creech (Gracey), Jalasia Bacon, Jeffery Bacon, Jadyria Bacon, Ryland Waters, Addie Waters; nephews, Dennis DeLoach, Andrew DeLoach, Joey Anderson, Kurt DeLoach; nieces, Pamela Hogg, Conilee Kicklighter Stewart and Jessica Bargeron.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
