Alton Lee Rowell, 78 passed away, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Camellia Health & Rehab in Claxton. He was born in Lyons Georgia April 14, 1934 to William Dewey and Mamie Ruth Crosby Rowell. He had lived in this area most of his life and was employed as a manager in the Restaurant Business. He is preceded in death by a son, Alfred L. Rowell.
He is survived by, Daughter, Patricia Rowell of Glennville
A niece, Linda Hilton of Soperton, Georgia
Five Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, Saturday, March, 30, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
