Angela Folsom

Angela Durrence Folsom, 62, entered her heavenly home Friday, February 10, 2023 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. She was born December 1, 1960 to Wayne and Patsy Waters Durrence and was a 1978 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy. Angela was employed with the Department of Family and Children Services for 30 years. After retiring, she loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and loved to ride the lawnmower, work in her yards and spend time at the beach. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Angela was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.

Husband, Jay Folsom of Glennville, Georgia

Children, Casey Butler (Jason)
Cody Folsom (Amanda) all of Glennville, Georgia

Parents, Wayne and Patsy Durrence of Glennville, Georgia

Sister, Renee Savitz (Curtis) of Frisco, Texas

Grandchildren, Brooks Butler, Mercer Butler, Payson Folsom and Parker Folsom

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 13, 2023 at Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the Church at !0:00 AM, Monday to Lie in State until the Funeral Hour.
