Annie Church

Annie Mae Thompson Church, 74, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia. She was born July 1, 1946 to William and Bertha Mae Driggers Thompson and lived here most of her life. Annie was employed with Civil Service at Ft. Knox, Kentucky as a seamstress until retiring and being a caregiver for many families in the Glennville area. She loved her plants, loved to cook and to play card games especially, canasta. Annie was a loving mother and grandmother that adored her granddaughter and is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alan Church.

She is survived by:

Son, David & Christy Church of Woodbridge, VA

Granddaughter, Heather Church

Companion, Tommy Coulter of Glennville, GA

Several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 pm, at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
