Ashley Weitman

June 28, 1986 — May 26, 2022

Ashley DeRenne Weitman, 35, went to her heavenly home, May 26, 2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born June 28, 1986 in Waycross, Ga to Russell and Sonya Miles. Ashley lived in Glennville most of her life and was a 2004 graduate of Tattnall County High School. In 2010 she married her best friend and the love of her life, Kevin Weitman. They built a wonderful life together while raising two children. Ashley was a Special Education Paraprofessional at Glennville Elementary School for eleven years. She attended Anchorpointe Church and her firm belief in God supported her battle with leukemia, ultimately giving her peace. Ashley was a loving and devoted wife, stepmom, Gigi, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved the holidays, spending time with her family and watching her niece and nephew play sports. Ashley could be spotted at every event. Her newest obsession was spoiling her grandson, Khane. Ashley has a passion for singing and decorating. She loved the beach, traveling, the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. She is already dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is now at peace with her Savior.

Left to cherish her memory, she is survived by:
