Benjamin Brackin

Benjamin Gene Brackin, 70, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Alabama native had lived in Glennville most of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, former Chief of Police for the City of Glennville. He was retired from the Department of Corrections at Smith State Prison. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Katherine Brackin; son, Robert (Bobby) Brackin.
Survivors include:
Wife:Rebecca (Becky) Brackin of Glennville
Daughters:Gena Rogers of Claxton
Shae & Larson Stanfield of Glennville
Brother:Dale Brackin of Decatur, AL
Grandchildren:Lyndsay Brackin, Alannah Rogers, Jubal Stanfield
3 Step-Grandchildren, 7 Step-Great-Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews also survive.
