Betty Gibson

Betty Conley Gibson, 83, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Camilla Health & Rehab in Claxton. She was born May 25, 1937 to William and Maggie Sapp Conley and lived in Pembroke and Claxton most of her life. Betty was employed with Claxton Manufacturing as a seamstress for many years, was a home health caretaker and cleaned houses. She was a loving mother and grandmother and lived for her children and grandchildren. Betty was a member of Pembroke Christian Church and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Ellis Gibson; daughter, Deborah Gibson and grandson, Ricky Allen Gibson.

She is survived by:

Nancy Durrence (Henry) of Claxton, Georgia
Randy Gibson (Mitzi) of Glennville, Georgia
Trish Cline (Ron) of Claxton, Georgia

Sister, Alice Vanburen (Mike) of Atlanta, Georgia

Brother, Benny Conley of Augusta, Georgia

Special Friend, Lucy NeSmith

Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty One Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 11, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
