Betty Rhodes Kicklighter, 86, passed away, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1933 in Pineview, Georgia to James Frank and Odessa Martin Rhodes and lived in this area most of her life. Betty was a homemaker and a substitute teacher at Glennville Elementary School for many years. She was a member of Glennville First Christian Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Betty was a loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Olin and James F. Rhodes and sisters, Mary Lorene Tripp and Evelyn Johnson.

She is survived by:

Husband of 65 years, Bobby C. Kicklighter of Glennville, Georgia

Sons, Bob Kicklighter (Cindy) of Charleston, South Carolina
Brant Kicklighter (Darlene) of Glennville, Georgia

Brother, Tharpe Rhodes of Pineview, Georgia

Grandchildren, Kent Kicklighter (Malory), Kacey Rogers (Brian), David Powell,
and Robby Kicklighter

Great-Grandchildren, Kimber Kicklighter, Korbin and Brynlee Rogers

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm, at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Bender officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
