Bettye L. Phillips, 73, died August 18, 2010 at the Pavillion of Appling County Health Care System. The Wayne County native had lived in Baxley and Glennville most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, S. J. & Millie Jane Hardee; brother, Eugene Hardee; Husband, Mack Phillips.

Monty & Debra Edwards of Baxley
Greg Edwards of Surrency
Sue & Pink Renu of Rincon
Linda DeLoach of Garden City
Brothers:William E. Hardee of Surrency
Joseph L. Hardee of Orlando, FL
10 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.
