Charles White Sr.

Charles W. White Sr., 75, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Kentucky April 7, 1941 to Albert and Laura Napier White moving to Glennville from Florida in 1984. He served as a Military Policeman retiring after 20 years in the US Army serving in Korea, Vietnam, Germany and Panama. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He served eleven years in civilian law enforcement and was a mason and shriner. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and preceded in death by his wife, Leonor Huggins White.
He is survived by, Children, Elizabeth J. Magalei (Lei) of Statesboro, GA
Charles W. White Jr., (Kristy) of Audalusia, Alabama
David W. White (Shawnda) of Glennville, GA
Eight Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Adam Kastla officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Full Military Honors.
