Charlotte Jean Lemon, passed away on December 29, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia at the age of 81. She was born on March 6, 1944, in Gross Pointe Farms, Michigan and lived in Florida for 40 years before moving to Reidsville in 2005.
Charlotte was a devoted homemaker who found joy in nurturing her family. In addition to her primary role as a homemaker, she served as the secretary for the Bible Baptist Church in Florida for several years, where she made lasting contributions to her church through her dedication and service.
Her interests included solving word search puzzles, and she had a particular fondness for Mountain Dew. Above all, Charlotte's heart was filled with love for her grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished deeply, always taking pleasure in their accomplishments and happy moments.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Briggs, her five siblings and her husband of 43 years, Evart John Lemon.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Hurst and son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Debbie Lemon all of Lyons, Georgia. Three grandchildren, Dawn Hays, Nathan Hurst, Megan, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 4, 2025 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
