Clayton Walker

April 19, 1937 — March 5, 2021

Clayton Walker, 83, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Ogeechee Are Hospice. He was born in Liberty, County, Georgia to Ed and Bertha Mae Kitchen Walker and lived in this area all of his life. Clayton was a mechanic with Mascot Pecan Company for over 40 years and loved working on things in his spare time. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Clayton was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline Walker; three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by:

Children, Randy Walker (Karen)
Michael Walker (Ruth)
Jimmy Walker (Cindy)
Larry Walker (Felicia) all of Glennville, Georgia

Brother, L.C. Walker of Trinity, North Carolina

Sister-in-law, Maggie Lee Sapp of Townsend, Georgia

Eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jason Walker, Clayton Walker, Charles Walker, Tyler Walker

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to: Little Rock Baptist Church, 5606 GA Hwy 196, Glennville, Georgia 30427 and/or Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531 Statesboro, GA 30459

Social distancing of six feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.

Care and services are entrusted to Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
