Daniel Watson

Daniel "Danny" Herman Watson, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Optim Medical Center. The Glennville native was born April 3, 1956 to Herman Watson and Doris Strickland Watson Foster. He was a 1974 graduate of Glennville High School and was a retired district supervisor for Townsend Corporation. He loved hunting, fishing, racing and spending time with his family and friends. After retirement he helped his brother in the auto body repair business and loved to farm. He was a member of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his father; sister, Glenda Hinson; and a brother, Wendell Watson.

Daughter: Melissa Presley (Tim) of Griffin, GA
Sisters: Gail Baker (Jan) of Glennville, GA
Brenda Harrell (Wayne) of Columbia, SC
Linda Baxter of Glennville, GA
Brother: Kenny Watson (Sharon) of Glennville, GA
Grandchildren: Aaron, Zachary and Isabella Presley

Numerous nieces and nephews also survived which he enjoyed spending time with and always had a special nickname for each.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 3, 2017 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Shon Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
