David Miller

April 4, 1956 — December 2, 2017

David Marion Miller, 61, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his residence under the care of his family and hospice. He was born in Marks, Mississippi on April 4, 1956 to Lawrence Melvin and Stella Mae Cagle Miller and has lived in this area for many years. He was retired from the US Army as E5 after 20 years of service and was employed with Simpson Corporation for many years. David was a member of the Ogeechee Rifles Camp #941 Sons of Confederate Veterans and Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Claxton, Georgia.

He is survived by:

Wife, Melissa Miller of Brooklet, Georgia

Children, David Miller of Pooler, Georgia
Samuel Miller of Bloomingdale, Georgia
Thomas Miller of Brooklet, Georgia
Lukas Steigerwalt of Savannah, Georgia
Katie Rewshaw of Lillington, North Carolina

Brothers, Melvin Miller of Carrolton, Mississippi
Anthony Miller of Dyersville, Tennessee

Seven grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the chapel Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. James Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors.
