Deborah Joyce Futch

Deborah Joyce Futch,70, passed away on October 31, 2026, at Liberty Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 25, 1956, in Claxton, Georgia.

Deborah will be remembered for the love and care she gave as a homemaker, creating a home centered on family, comfort, and devotion. She found great joy in spending time with her family and treasured those moments most deeply. She also delighted in the companionship of her canine companion, Peanut, and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, pursuits that reflected her gentle care and the warmth she brought to everyday life.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her father, Billy Brazell and husband, Abrin Ellis Futch, Jr.

Mother, Mildred McDonald McKennon of St. Augustine, Florida

Children, Bridgett Gibson (Matt) of Ludowici, GeorgiaJoey Summerall (Amanda) of Glennville, Georgia

Sisters, Mary Ann Brazell of Glennville, Georgia
Kathy Arce (John) of St Augustine, Florida

Grandchildren, Kaitlynn Duff (Michael), Matthew Gibson, Hallie Summerall (Kevin), Emma Summerall, Jessica Smith (Kayla)

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Grace Baptist Church. Burial will be private.
