Donald Branson

Donald Edwin Branson, 96, passed away Monday, December 07, 2020 at Jenkins County Hospital in Millen, GA. He was born December 7, 1924 in Glennville, GA to Donald Franklin and Mary Lynn Branson and lived in Savannah and this area most of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and employed with Ashland Oil in the Asphalt Paving industry for many years. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 8379 and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Juanita Knight Branson, a stepson, three sisters, and one brother.

He is survived by, Daughter, Sallie Kirkland of Millen, GA

Girlfriend, Bonnell Reese of Collins, GA

Special Friends, Randall and Brenda Perkins of Vidalia and Brenda Lovett of Millen, GA

Five Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Battle Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin Gordon officiating.
