Donna Ruth Moore

Donna Ruth Baker Moore, 83, passed away on August 12, 2026 at Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation. She was born May 8, 1943, in Portland, Maine to James and Ruth Baker.

Donna was known for her devotion to her family, which she considered her proudest accomplishment. Throughout her life, Donna lived true to her family-oriented nature. One of Donna’s greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She delighted in accompanying them to activities, cheering them on, and finding joy in their pursuits and milestones. Family reunions and oyster roasts were treasured occasions for Donna. These special moments reflected her belief in the importance of family connections and traditions.

Donna also loved traveling with her husband, Durone. Together, they traveled and she took great pride in helping him in high-rise construction projects.

Donna’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. The lessons she imparted, the laughter she shared, and the care she extended will forever be treasured. 

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, James Frank Baker and Christine Ruth Baker; husband, Jesse Durone Baker; and five siblings.

She is survived by her children, Jesse Moore (Tammy) of Glennville, GA and Darin Moore (Christina) of Jacksonville, FL; siblings, Gail Baker of Orlando, FL, Ray Baker of Alabama, and Darrell Baker of Colorado; Grandchildren, Ashley McCullough (James), Madison Moore, Jessica Moore, Jeremiah Moore, Joshua Moore; and three great-grandchildren. 

Services will be private.
