Doris Groover

Doris Vivian Groover, 83, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in this area all of her life and was a homemaker and member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
Survivors include:
Three nephews:Dean Groover of St. Mary's
John Groover of Ludowici
Bart Groover of Camp LeJeune, NC
Brother:W. A. Groover of St. Petersburg, FL
Sisters:OraLee Taylor of Marietta
Janie Todd of Glennville
Five Grandsons, Four Great-Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews
also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Dr. Charles "Bucky" Strickland and Rev. Edward Brannen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
