Dorothy Eckhart

April 16, 1925 — January 23, 2016

Dorothy M. Eckhart, 90, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Glenvue Nursing Home. She was born April 16, 1925 to Anna and Stephen Pinter in South Bend, Indiana. She was a retired CPA and had worked at Georgia Southern and Armstrong University. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, cooking, sewing and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, William "Bill" Eckhart,; siblings, Steve Pinter, Betty Alexander, Anna Nykos, Kate Vanmele, John Pinter, and Helen Defrees all of Indiana; and sons, David Eckhart and Fred Eckhart.
She is survived by:
Sons, John Eckhart (Gwen) of Glennville, Georgia
Bill Eckhart (Susan) of Madison, Georgia
Daughter-in-laws, Brenda Eckhart of Richmond Hill, Georgia
Faye Eckhart of Glennville, Georgia
6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Glennville City Cemetery with Rev. Kit Cummings officiating.
