Eddie Lemuel Weathers Sr

Eddie Lemuel Weathers Sr. passed away peacefully at his residence under the care of Hospice of South Georgia on December 23, 2025. He was 73 years old. He was born on June 2, 1952, in Claxton, Georgia to Edward Stanfield and Dolly Weathers and was a Glennville High School graduate.

Eddie was a dedicated and skilled craftsman, having spent his life as a roofer and co-owner of S&W Roofing. His work ethic was evident throughout his career, earning him the respect of both colleagues and clients. He took immense pride in providing for his family through his profession.

He cherished his family above all and considered his greatest accomplishment to be the legacy he built with them. Eddie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who nurtured relationships built on love and trust.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed a variety of hobbies that reflected his personality. Fishing, shooting pool, piddling around the house, and reading were among his favorite pastimes. He was also an avid hunter. Additionally, Eddie had a passion for collecting coins, a hobby that brought him great joy and fascination.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents ,wife, Glenda Durrence Weathers, siblings, Bobby, David and Brenda.

Kristal "Nikki" Weathers (O.L. Grimes) of Glennville, Georgia

Siblings, Linda Johns of Glennville, Georgia
James Weathers of Ludowici, Georgia

Grandchildren, Micheal Love, Mykera Love. Dyllon Weathers

Great Grandchild, Josyah Love, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will be private at a later date.
