Edward "Buddy" Sikes

Collins- Mr. Edward "Buddy" Sikes 92, of Collins died January 2, 2016 at Camellia Health and Rehab in Claxton. He was a native of Tattnall County, having lived there all his life. He was a farmer, and worked at the Hagan and Metter Stockyards; along with the Tattnall County Road Department for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Ebbie Sikes, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Lucille Woods Sikes of Collins; children Jacky (Kaye) Sikes of Cobbtown, Larry Sikes of Collins, Earl (Darlene) Sikes of Lyons, Willard Sikes of Reidsville, Rose (Louis) Eason of Collins. Also surviving are brothers and sisters Sunny Sikes, Beauford Sikes, Earlene Lively, Mary Collins, Delma Collins, Peggy Lively. 7 grand-children; and 12 great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be Monday January 4, 2016 6:00pm-8:00pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday January 5, 2016 at 2:00pm from the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.

Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Cobbtown.
