Edwin V. Padgett, 81, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Glenvue Health & Rehab. He was born August 21, 1938 to Parley and Elmer Fay Black Padgett and lived in this area all of his life. Edwin was a retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as a mechanic after 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsmen that loved to hunt and fish and was a loving caring husband, father and grandfather.. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald Padgett.

He is survived by,

Wife, Lana Padgett of Glennville, Georgia

Children, Kenneth Padgett (Teresita) of Dublin, Georgia
Misty Davis (Jerome) of Glennville, Georgia
Laura Bacon (Jack) of Glennville, Georgia

Twin Brother, Edsel Padgett of Dublin, Georgia

Sister, Ramona Carlisle of Pennsylvania

Grandchildren, Ken Padgett, Ryan Padgett, Brett Davis, Brianna Davis,
Sorana Bacon, and Ashlyn Bacon

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 9:45 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home Monday, December 30, 2019.  Graveside Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 am, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
