Elinor Kicklighter

Elinor Casteen Kicklighter, 89, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro, Georgia. She was born May 25, 1931 to William and Jewel Kent Casteen and lived in this area all of her life. She was employed with Murcel Manufacturing Company for 18 years and retired from the Tattnall County School System food service after 19 years of Service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved to cook for and be with her family. She was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church and preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thad Kicklighter, sisters, Jerrell Driggers, Edna Todd, brothers, Ted Casteen, Alton Casteen and Elvis Casteen.

She is survived by, Children, Kenneth Wells, Brenda Bostick, Connie Yarbrough (Carl), Ricky Kicklighter (Debbie), Audrey Kicklighter all of Glennville, GA

Brother, Ed Casteen of Glennville, GA

Sister, Annette Maund (Asa) of Glennville, GA

Six Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren, Three Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Beards Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. Edward Brannen officiating.
