Elisabeth "Lisa" Johanna Carrino, 86, left this world on January 19, 2026, at Georgia Hospice Care, surrounded by love and warmth. Born on February 18, 1939, in White Church, Yugoslavia, Elisabeth's life story is one of resilience, strength, and unwavering love.

A skilled seamstress, Lisa proudly owned her successful business for over 30 years, where her keen eye for detail and creativity shone through. Her work not only exemplified her talent but also brought joy to those around her, creating cherished garments that adorned many. Throughout her life, she was adored by all her family, who were consistently inspired by her dedication both in her craft and to her loved ones.

Lisa's journey was one marked by survival and triumph; she was a child Holocaust survivor whose experiences shaped her profound outlook on life. In every interaction, she emanated a spirit of compassion and kindness, reminding others of the power of resilience.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Lisa found joy in an array of hobbies. She was an avid gardener whose hands would nurture both the earth and the flora that graced her garden. Camping brought her joy, allowing her to immerse herself in nature, and the thrills of bingo nights added laughter and camaraderie to her life.
