Evelo Boatright

Evelo Brannen Boatright, 86, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Camellia Health and Rehab under hospice care from a short illness of several medical complications. She was born June 1, 1934 in Glennville, Georgia to Clyde and Grace Kicklighter Brannen. She was a wonderful mother who was a loving and caring person to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by, her parents; husband, Myron Boatright and brothers, Arlian Brannen, Dartho Brannen and Joe Brannen.

She is survived by, her daughters, Jane Baxter and husband Warren of Glennville, Georgia, Jennifer Edwards and husband Doug, Vicki Carratt and husband Louie, all of Valdosta, Georgia. Grandchildren, Leslie Baxter, who was dear to her heart, Shane and Michele Edwards, Shannon and Jamie Shontz and four great grandchildren. Brother, Dannis Brannen of Glennville, Georgia, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beards Creek Church Cemetery.
