Gail Jones Bazemore, a cherished soul who left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center. Born on November 9, 1940, to Dewitt and Christine Anderson Jones, in the warm embrace of Glennville, she was a beacon of kindness and compassion, admired by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Gail embodied the spirit of caregiving, spending many fulfilling years as a Para Pro with the Tattnall County School System. Her dedication to nurturing young minds mirrored her unwavering commitment to her family, which she considered her most significant accomplishment. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she exemplified the essence of love and devotion, always placing the needs of others before her own.
Gail's personality radiated warmth; she was known for her kind demeanor, sweet nature, and an ever-present smile that could brighten the gloomiest of days. Her passion for life extended beyond her family, as she found joy in hobbies that enriched her spirit. Whether it was sewing, cooking, or tending to her yard, where she delighted in planting and caring for flowers.
A devoted servant of her church, Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, Gail's faith was a guiding light in her life. She shared her love and compassion with the community around her, embodying the virtues of generosity and grace. Her unwavering commitment to those she loved and her gentle spirit will forever remain etched in their hearts.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Daine Bazemore and a granddaughter, Dara Ray.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow at the Glennville City Cemetery.
