Gennell Bass

Gennell Cammack Bass, 76, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 22, 1942 to Clyde Clinton and Allalee Brannen Cammack and lived in this area all of her life. Gennell was employed with Ithaca Corporation and was a custodian at Glennville Elementary School for many years. She enjoyed word search puzzles and reading. She was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Griffis, Lou Beth Stanfield, Barbara Ann Cason; brothers, Jr. Cammack and Edward Ferguson.

She is survived by:
Children, Eugene Austin (Stacy) of Springfield
Marshall Austin of Glennville
Lisa Groff of Glennville
Ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church. Burial follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
