Glenn Ellis DeLoach, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his residence, under the compassionate care of Community Hospice. Born on April 22, 1947, in Glennville, Georgia, to Ted and Eudell Smith DeLoach, Glenn led a life marked by dedication, integrity, and a profound love for his family.
Glenn distinguished himself through a career, retiring from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart. After his retirement, he continued working diligently as a superintendent with Siler Excavating until June 2025, exemplifying his strong work ethic. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his personal interests, which included farming and nurturing his beloved pecan trees. A proud member of the Country Boy Plow Club, he found great joy in working the land and spending time with his donkeys and mules.
Glenn was also member of the Georgia National Guard. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. His life's work and passions will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Glenn was preceded in death by, his parents and brothers, Gary DeLoach and Larry DeLoach.
As we bid farewell to Glenn, we honor the legacy of a man whose strength, kindness, and commitment to hard work have left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by: Wife, Vera DeLoach, Sons, Dane DeLoach, Daniel DeLoach (Daniela), Derrick DeLoach (Iris), Sisters, Gail Daughtry (Bill), Brenda Rolls, Grandchildren, Daniel DeLoach Jr., Daisy DeLoach, Andrew DeLoach, Daily DeLoach, DaNeil DeLoach, Derrick DeLoach, Jr. Great Grandchildren, Adeline DeLoach, Cade Jenkins, Willa DeLoach, Daniel DeLoach. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 3, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 3, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
