Louis Hampton Geiger, 80, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born in Glennville to Hampton  and Penny Merle Baxter Geiger and lived in this area all of his life. He was employed with Georgia Power for 8 years and self employed as a Tree Surgeon until his retirement. He loved to hunt, fish, visit with family and friends and tell stories about his life. He was a member of Glennville First Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Annie Geiger, sister, Anda G. Odom.

He is survived by, wife, Glenda W. Geiger of Glennville, Georgia

Daughter, Kimberly Blocker (Brian) of Glennville, Georgia

Grandsons, Matthew Blocker (Kayla) of Glennville, Georgia

Mark Blocker of Atlanta, Georgia

Great Grandchildren, Ames and Mattie Blocker, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at the Glennville City Cemetery with Rev. Martin Bender and Rev. Steve Miller officiating.
