Hazel Deloach

September 7, 1933 — February 25, 2021

Hazel Carter DeLoach, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Bryan County Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 6, 1933 in Glynn County to Allen and Adel Hutcherson Carter and was a 1950 graduate of Claxton High School. Over several years she held many different jobs but her most favorite was being Mama and Mema to all of her family. Some of her favorite hobbies were, fishing, quilting and sewing for her family and friends. She was a member of Bull Creek Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene DeLoach; a brother, Thomas Carter; a son, Barry DeLoach; son-in-law, Randy Colson, Sr. and a granddaughter, Sabrina DeLoach.

She is survived by:

Children, Eddie DeLoach (Rose) of Odum, Georgia
Tony DeLoach (Penny) of Blackshear, Georgia
Suzanne Colson of Claxton, Georgia

10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a special friend, Sybil Scott also survive.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Monday, March 1, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 1, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bull Creek Church Cemetery.

Social distancing of six feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.

Care and services are entrusted to Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
