Herta Watson

Herta K. Watson, 94, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family and under the care of GHC Hospice. She was born on November 10, 1926 in Stralund, Germany and lived in Long County and Shellman Bluff for many years. Herta operated Adamson’s Fish Camp for many years and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Walter Kruger.

She is survived by:

Children, Margitta Foster of Hinesville, Georgia
Patricia Shelman of Huntsville, Alabama
Sandra Wells of Jacksonville, Florida
Gerd Hilderbrant of Cincinnati, Ohio

Nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.
