Horace Edwin Anderson, 81, of Glennville, passed away Thursday, April 01, 2010 after a long illness. He was at home surrounded by family and close friends. He was born on August 1, 1928 to Horace and Vira Dent Anderson of Tattnall County. Edwin was a graduate of Glennville High School, a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from the civil service of the Forestry Division at Ft. Stewart. He was an honorary member of the Shady Hammock Hunting Club. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and was affectionately known as "the RoadRunner".
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nelda Groover ; son-in-law, Mickey McCrary.

Lanola Mankin of Brunswick
Six Grandchildren and Fourteen Great-Grandchildren
Several nieces, nephews and in-laws also survive.
