Horace Gene Taylor, 82 passed away Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Son Coast Hospice in, Florida. He was born in Adel, Georgia, March 15, 1934 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from Mack Trucks. He stated his own Company, A Better Way Realty and began a 30 year career of selling real estate in Largo Florida. He spent most of his recent years painting and writing poetry and children's stories. All have religious themes, not by conscious design but more like he was wired that way many years ago. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, remodeling homes, working in the yard and tending to God's little creatures.

Carol Jean (Keith) Wilks of Lexington, SC
Kerry Demerick Taylor of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Grandchildren, Jessica Easterlin and husband Nick, Taylor Wilks and Brandon Wilks
Great Grandchild, Emerson Taylor Easterlin
Brother, John B. Taylor of Land O'Lakes, Florida
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 2:00pm, Monday, June 20, 2016 at Harmony United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00pm at Harmony United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with military honors.
