Inez Hughes

December 7, 1920 — February 15, 2011

Inez Stubbs Hughes, 90 passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Bethany Nursing Home in Vidalia. The Tattnall County native had lived in area most of his life. She employed with Claxton Manufacturing and with the Green Thumb program in Cobbtown for many years. She was a pink lady at Tattnall Memorial Hospital and voted Ms. Bethany Home in 2009. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and a member of the WMU. She is preceded in death by Husband, William "Boy" Hughes, parents, Martin Luther and Samantha Bradey Stubbs, Daughter, Marta Harey, Sons, Ronnie, Paul & J.D. Hughes.
She is survived by, Children, Jimmy & Vivian Hughes of Lyons
Earl & Faye Hughes of Meldrem
Nell & Kenneth Sapp of Pooler
Linda & Billy Riner of Lyons
Betty & Ron Gordy of Savannah
Martha Olsen of Pooler
Mae Jo & Russ Jeffers of Bloomindale
Denise & Stan Locke of Milledgeville
Sisters, Montez Todd of Glennville
Nova Jean Deal and Nadine Eddinger both of Reidsville
Brothers, Herman & Bill Stubbs of Reidsville
Several grandchildren, Great Grandchildren nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Church Cemetery.
