Jackie D. Dasher, 71, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was born August 26, 1949 to Walter L. and Winnie Fennell Dasher and lived in Glennville all of his life. Jackie was a 1968 graduate of Glennville High School. He was a Charter member of Glennville Rotary Club and a founding member and Director of South Georgia Bank. He was a farmer, member and deacon of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Jackie loved people and never met a stranger. Before he ended his conversation with you he knew all about you. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Laurie Kicklighter, brothers, Gerald Dasher and Ronald Dasher.

He is survived by, wife of 49 years, Barbara K. Dasher of Glennville, Georgia

Children, Tracy Brannen (Shane) of Glennville, Georgia

Chad Dasher of Glennville, Georgia

Andrew Stanley Dasher (Jodi Marie) of Glennville, Georgia

Brother, Robert Dasher (Debbie) of Glennville, Georgia

Nine Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home

Funeral Services will follow Saturday at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Brian Dutton, Andrew Waters, Christopher Waters, Andrew Brannen, Waylon Simmons, Jonathan Groover

Honorary Pallbearers: Officers and Directors of South Georgia Bank.

Social distancing of three feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
