Jacqueline Odum

Jacqueline "Jackie" Taylor Odum, 82, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. She was born in Patterson, Georgia on February 28, 1938 to Ernie Franklin and Martha Dubberly Taylor and was raised in South Georgia. Jackie moved to Florida and raised her family before moving back to Glennville in 1974. She was a homemaker, loved to cook, spend time with her family and can vegetables. Jackie also enjoyed planting flowers and gardening with her sister-in-law Odessa. She was a member of Birdford Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Roy Odum; brother, Oliver Taylor; sister-in-law, Odessa Powell; sons-in-law, Roger Hutchins and Raymond Smith and grandson-in-law, Daryl Jacobs.

Thirteen Grandchildren, Thirty Great Grandchildren, Three Great-Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, October 25, 2020 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Great Grandsons.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines of six feet will be enforced. Masks are not required but are recommended.
