James Martz

James T. Martz, 68, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. He was born in Dayton, Ohio December 7, 1949 to James Fredrick and Frances Thomas Martz. He had lived in Hinesville moving to this area Ten years ago. He served in the Navy, Army and National Guard retiring as SSG after 20 years of service. He served Two Tours in Vietnam where he received numerous award and medals. He was employed at Ft. Stewart with Akal Security Company.
He is survived by, Wife, Dale Martz of Reidsville, GA
Children, Jonathan F. DuPree of Reidsville, GA
Christopher P. DuPree (Christy) of Rincon, GA
Grandchildren, Ryan, Rachael and Brenna DuPree, several nieces, nephew and other relatives also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
