Jan Moore

Jan T. Moore, 64, entered her heavenly home in the early morning hours on Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. She was born January 25, 1958 to Jack and Virginia Dasher Moore and graduated from Windsor Forest High School in 1976. Jan was a graduate of Savannah Technical College and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved to read, go to the beach, swim and watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune with her grandson, Jaxon, which was the apple of her eye. Jan had a servant’s heart that gave her passion for the things she did, like opening her home to being a foster parent and homeless single mothers and their children. She was an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research. Jan was a devoted Christian and was a member of AnchorPointe Church. She was preceded in death by her father.

Mother, Virginia Moore of Glennville, Georgia

Jan’s body was donated to the Medical College of Georgia to further Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at AnchorPointe Church.
