Janice Martin DeLoach, 71, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, at her residence under the compassionate care of Georgia Hospice Care. Born on August 11, 1954, in Cobbtown, Georgia, Janice lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and a vibrant spirit that touched all who knew her.
Throughout her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Janice demonstrated unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. Her professional compassion was matched only by the joy she found in her personal life. An avid reader and a spirited card player, she cherished the simple pleasures of life, often sharing laughter and stories during friendly games. Janice also loved taking mini vacations, escapes that brought joy and refreshment to her days, yet her greatest happiness came from spending quality time with her family.
Friends and family will remember Janice not only for her warmth and generosity but also for her delightful sense of humor which brightened even the most challenging days. Her remarkable ability to bring comfort and laughter into any room leaves a lasting legacy of love and resilience.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Mack Phillip and Edna Pearl Miles Martin, sister, Peggy Jean Collins, brothers, Jerry Martin, Rex Andy Martin, Gary Collins and a sister-in-law, Grace Love.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, L.H. DeLoach of Claxton, Georgia; daughter, Dana Marie Googe (Michael) of Metter, Georgia; son, Billy Dean Williama of Metter, Georgia; grandchildren, Alaura Dannen Rogers, Kenneth Michael Rogers (Jasmine), Brittney Elizabeth Jones, Jeremiah Trevor Williams; great grandchildren, Gradey Wayne Tyer, Diane Jean Rogers, Matthew Williams; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
