Jean Milinare

Mrs . Jean Huizinga Milinare, 78, of Metter died Friday evening at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. She was a native of Berwyn, Illinois, had lived in Orlando, Fla. for several years before moving to Metter four years ago. She was a retired bookkeeper, enjoyed picking up pecans, knitting, and working with the children at the Metter United Methodist Church where she was a member. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters.

Surviving are one daughter; Jody(Jack) Bowen of Metter, a son; Daniel (Geny) Milinare of Miami, Fla. one sister; Dixie Logue of Lombard, Illinois, and three grandchildren; Audra Keller, Daniel and David Milinare.

A gathering and celebration of Jean's life will be Monday morning, July, 7 2014, 9:00 am at the home of her daughter, 38832 Hwy. 46 W Metter, Ga. with Rev. David Hibbert officiating.
