Jeannette Ray

Jeannette S. Ray, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Evans Memorial Medical Center in Claxton, Georgia. She was born July 11, 1942 to Roscoe Stanfield and Sara Bazemore and graduated from high school in Baxley, Georgia. She was also a graduate of Truett McConnell College and was the secretary for Ray's Roofing for many years. Jeanette was a homemaker, a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Doyle Ray.

She is survived by:
Children, Debbie Brannen (Mickey) of Glennville
Walter Ray (Lana) of Glennville
Grandchildren, Ashley NeSmith (Demere), Michael Brannen, Kaitlyn Ray,
and Megan Ray
Great Grandchild, Chevy NeSmith
Several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Watermelon Creek Church Cemetery.
