Jessica Elaine Moody, 34, of Glennville Georgia passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 25, 1991, to Tommy Moody and Melissa Cranford.
She was a devoted mother to her two children, William Moody and Jalei Moody, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her mother, Melissa Cranford, maternal grandmother, Martha Cranford, siblings Thomas Moody (Tara), Austin Moody (Brittany), Devin Moody, and Georgia Teeters (Michael), as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Moody and many beloved grandparents.
She had a love for the simple joys in life—camping, fishing, and cooking, especially making her “famous” three-ingredient peanut butter cookies. She was creative and crafty, always painting or coming up with new projects to share with her children, nieces, and nephews. What defined her most was her heart. She gave endlessly, even when she had little herself. She believed in helping others, and if she could make something happen for someone, she would. Her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love will forever be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and selflessness that will live on through her children and family.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:30, Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services.
