Jimmy Powell

Jimmy Shannon Powell, 45, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1975 to Jimmy and Leliani Johns Powell and lived in Florida and Glennville most of his life. Shannon was a self employed painter and handyman for many years. He loved to fish and work on anything with a motor. Shannon was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Serenia Hendrix.

He is survived by:

Melissa Powell of Ludowici, Georgia

Step Daughters, Brittney Tanner and Ashely Hall

Siblings, Tina Sallette (Bill) of Glennville, Georgia
Tammy Wasson of Glennville, Georgia
Shirley Campbell of Anderson, South Carolina
Angela Mcleskey of Charleston, South Carolina

Special Friend, Ricky Gumm of Glennville, Georgia

Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Social distancing of six feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
