John Kirkland

John E. Kirkland, 63, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Evans Memorial Hospital. He was born July 16, 1957 to Oliver and Edith Brown Kirkland and lived in Glennville all of his life. John was a 1975 graduate of Glennville High School and retired from Rotary Corporation after 31 years. After retirement he enjoyed swinging on his front porch and listening to gospel music. John loved to fish, ride his bicycle and to watch sports and was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ann Thigpen McMurtry (Doug) of Reidsville, GA
Jimmy Kirkland (Barbara) of Blairsville, GA
Judy Watson of Glennville, GA

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 1, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.

Social distancing of six feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
