Reidsville
John Lee Quick, Sr. (Lee), 67, passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 20, 2011.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Hancock from 1964-1968. He also built power towers from Baxley, Georgia to Florida and was a police officer in Reidsville. He also served as a police K-9 officer in Glennville and Rockledge, FL.
He is preceded in death by by a son, Jimmy Quick and wife, Betty C. Quick.

Several grandchildren and great-granchildren also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, October 24, 2011 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville. Burial will follow in Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Lee Quick, Jr., Johnnie Millirones, Tim Millirones, Shane Weaver, W. O. Lane, Scott Smith, Oliver "Shine" Lane, Claude Poulin, Billy Kemp.
Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel, in charge of the arrangements.
