Johnnie Moody

Johnnie Mae Moody, 96, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Glenvue Health and Rehab surrounded by her family and under the care of Spanish Oak Hospice. She was born in Long County August 9, 1922 and lived in this area all of her life. She was a caretaker for several families for many years and was a caring mother and grandmother to many other families and children. She was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church. She is preceded in death by, Sisters, Nancy Way, Mildred Gibson, Gennell Robinson, Deloris Mincey, Geraldine Miller, Lacey McCoy, Brothers, James Tootle, Willie Tootle, Earnest Tootle, Morris Tootle and Charlie McCoy.
She is survived by, Daughter, Rosa Moody of Glennville, GA
Other Children, Allen Moody (Pat), Shirley Linsey (Cedrick), Maude Wilson, Daniel T. dukes, Michael Dukes (Vickie) , Allen Dukes, Lonnie Dukes (Cecila), Willis Dukes, Ava Dukes, Alicia Dukes, and Tonya Dukes
Grandson, David Moody of Jacksonville, FL, several children she helped raise, Beatrice Choose, Whitney Roberts, Holly Howard Durrence, Robin Dreggors Waters, Daniel Dreggors
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 pm, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. James A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
