Joseph Branson

Joseph "Joe" Branson, 88, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. He was born in Glennville on May 6, 1926 to Richmond W. and Jeanie Mae Watson Branson and lived in this area most of his life. He owned and operated the Ace Hardware Store in Reidsville for many years. He was a WWII Navy veteran and was of the Baptist faith.

Pam Treadway of SC
Sister:Ola Mae Rogers of Glennville
Grandson:Aaron Vee
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Knight officiating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery with Military Honors.
