Joseph Macgregor

Joseph Paul MacGregor, 56, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born March 5, 1962 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Kenneth and Phyllis MacGregor. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for ten years and also served in the U.S Air Force National Guard 165th Airlift Wing retiring as MSGT. He was currently employed with the Department of Defense as an investigator assigned to the security forces squadron 165th airlift wing. He was formally employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections at Smith State Prison and Long County PDC as a Lieutenant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He was a loving caring husband and father and was an avid New England Patriots Fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lynn MacGregor and Marie Gonder.
He is survived by, Wife, Lynne B. MacGregor of Reidsville, GA

Brittney Massey of Richland, WA
Sister, Julia (David) Bertrand of Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Sister in-law, Michelle (Dennis) Davis of Glennville, GA
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors.
