Juanita Branch

Juanita Faulk Branch, 78, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Bethany Hospice. She was born September 18, 1942 in Glenwood, Georgia to Horace Patrick and Georgia Estelle Pittman Faulk. Juanita was a hairdresser for many years, owning and operating Mendes Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter of the Eastern Star, the National Cosmetology Association, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Alee Temple Shrine. Juanita was also a member of the Glennville First Christian Church, where she was a member of the Builder’s Sunday school class, served on the FCC board, as CWF President, as CWF and Miss Mary Circle treasurer for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Horace Patrick Faulk, Jr., Wendell Faulk, Ruby Clements, a son, Todd Branch and a step-daughter, Renee Branch Bland. She is survived by: Husband of 57 years, Gary Branch of Glennville, Georgia Children, Lisa Branch Burkhalter (Randy) of Glennville, Georgia Samantha Branch Durrence (Jimmy) of Glennville, Georgia Step-Sons, Anthony Branch (Brenda) of Glennville, Georgia Keith Branch (Jane) of Glennville, Georgia Grandchildren, Erika Lambert (William), Jessica Walling (Jason), Ryan Burkhalter (Charly), Lauren Clay (Davy), Blake Hughes (Macy), Nathan Rogers (Christie), Kaitlin Phillips (Will), Joshua Branch (Elizabeth), Jonathan Branch, Jacob Branch (Kearstin), Jeremiah Branch Fifteen great grandchildren with two soon to be born great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Monday, February 14, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
